This is a fake product. It has very small gauge wire with thick insulation to make them look big. The capacitors are all dry inside and do nothing. There is one cap that works otherwise it is just a overpriced voltage meter. do not buy this it is a scam.

Never install cables or anything over the battery cell covers, you need to check the water level and possibly add periodically. Your battery is already body grounded, I would have placed the ground at the alternator bracket or somewhere on the engine, and last you mounted the stabilizer on the battery, you will need to change batteries at some point. And everyone yes this is a stabilizer, it's just a series of high current capacitors, hopefully the manufacturer placed high current diodes in place at input of positive and negative, otherwise be careful and double check connections, capacitors will blow very loudly immediately after backwards connection
